I understand. Thank you, Jimmy. I too will stop annoying you with my endless question and confusion. All I wanted is advice for experts in this field. I’ll do a research, try different material until I reach my goals. Thank you everyone for your help, I appreciate it :)

Thanks for the link and explanation. I’m trying to find an alternative to Rockwool; there is another product whic is made of textile, would it be as effective as rockwool? Bobina ecologica GEOPAN THERMOPY 5 MM ACUS 33.6 M2 Ref. 17839962 - Leroy Merlin There is another one: Panel acustico...

Thank you, Jimmy. So material used should be between reflection and absorption? This material’s NRC index is 0.82 which means it’s highly absorpant.

I understand that air gap can make difference in case I used bass traps, but not absorption panels. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

I just bought two panels (Semi-rigid panels of foam agglomerated polyurethane) 2m x 1m x 4cm each. Specs: http://www.leroymerlin.es/dms/leroyMerlinKit/pdfs/aislamiento/17010994.pdf Density: 80 kg/m3 Thickness: 4cm Absorption: 63 db NRC: 0.81 Do you think this material is good enough to be...

I thought about spacers too, would spacers make a noticeable difference?

I'll build another four panels and bass traps too. I went through all comments, recommendations, suggestions and thoughts. I'm just too busy to build everything at once. So next steps are bass traps for the corners and carpets. Moreover, I have 0.5" depth in the current panels that I can fit in...

I thought of something similar as to keep the floor clean. I would attach one or two extendable mic stands to the cieling, one for vocals and the other one to record acoustic guitar. But I never thought of hiding the cables inside the cieling. Nice idea, Dave, thank you! You're right, the...

A little acoustic treatment underneath the flooring Sounds like a great idea, Dave. I'm planning to change the spot lights with something better and cooler. So I'll make one opening in the middle so I can access the inner cavity and place rockwool all over the place.

Here is a recent photo of the mini studio. Nothing significant has been made for acoustic treatment yet.

Once again, thanks :) Sorry for the links, they're in Spanish from a local Home depot. It looks like it's going to be a difficult job to target low frequency below 400Hz :(

Thank you John for this helpful thread. For bass traps, would you recommend recycled/regenerated cotton with 40kg/m3 density, or foam with 80kg/m3 density. Thank you in advance.
