    Wow! Lots of info. My son who is a computer wiz. supposedly is building me one. Not exactly sure what his building but I was to get it on Father’s Day this year. Didn’t happen he just told me last week that it’s almost done. So maybe I’ll just wait a few more! Fingers crossed.

    Yea, I’m going to start shopping for a laptop not too expensive I’ve already invested quite a bit in my tiny studio. I’ll keep my two iPads . One is for production the other I use for lyrics and notes . I just don’t want to make a mistake on what I purchase so I’m going to have to do some research!

    So my understanding is that if you have windows or Mac the updates are done automatically. My son came by last week and we hooked it up to his laptop and it showed a couple of firmware updates. But there were no changes to volt.

    So what you are saying is that apple is excellent for music production? I mean I do like apple but there’s a few daw’s that I would like to try but can’t . I had to try out a few interfaces as well none were plug and play for apple until I found Volt . I’ll keep it for now .

    GM, What’s a good laptop widows - mac for music production? at the moment I’m using iPad but it’s very limited. I have it hooked up to Volt 276 audio interface and it ok . But even to get updates for volt I need to take I’ve to a friends to get those updates.

    Yea, makes sense. My usual set up is two mics. One for guitar and one for vocals One track as it’s a live recording. I just got back into this music game after 25 years A lot has changed so I’m trying to figure out. Thank you

    Here’s another sound question, so again im using volt 276 audio interface with n-tracks and iPad 10 on iPad should the audio setting be on mono or stereo? Sorry if is a silly question im new at this.
