How to do this in Cubase?

Thanks @rob aylestone I guess it would be a weird feature to have the one small section loop but then keep recording along the timeline somehow. Because what I'm doing is improvised it's hard to know how many loops to cut and paste .... I might just go on for hours.... okay maybe not. :-)

How to do this in Cubase?

Thank you. No problem syncing. I just wanted to see if there was a better idea for recording my jam over the loop within cubase instead of pasting the loop a hundred times, I guess. Is there like an automatic multi-lane recording or something?

How to do this in Cubase?

I want to make a video of me jamming on my EWI but I want to do it so I can take the sound directly from Cubase. I don't really want to do it with the mic from the camera necessarily. I could but I think it would sound better direct. My EWI is controlling a VST running native in Cubase. (...

    Cubase Crashing On Project Loading?

@Mustachio I was having a similar problem a few months back. Come to find out it was actually a certain plugin that was the common "cause" ... do some projects still open? If so, maybe try to open the larger project without loading any plugins. I had to upgrade my PC and image the hard drive...

Working with a very dynamic singer

Well, it kind of was @ecc83 but the advice goes in the direction it goes, I guess. (I never said anything about the person being untrained, etc. She just goes from whisper to clip in 2.2 seconds. lol) I'm fine with it, though. Sometimes with the gain down low like that I felt like I was...

Thanks for putting this up @PorterhouseMusic I find these posts to be interesting. The WA87 sounds best to me. I'm not any kind of an expert, though.

Working with a very dynamic singer

@rob aylestone that's a cool idea. I'm trying to imagine how exactly I'd set that up placement & stand wise, etc. I will look into it.

Working with a very dynamic singer

Looking for advice. (always looking for advice, really) I don't sing my own stuff. I write music for a woman who has a very powerful and dynamic voice tending toward a brighter sound. (Think Cranberries, Kate Bush, etc.) I do a lot of automation, compression, de-essers and everything. For the...

Would you pay $60 to watch Grammy "nominee" Marc Daniel Nelson mix a full song in real time?

@Slouching Raymond you're right! I take it back. He's merely a nominee. :cautious: As my son said to me once, "anyone can get nominated for anything" :-)

I might. These courses kind play on our hopes and dreams ya know? I mean it's only $57 .... and it could be the magic we need to be successful.
