The definition of a great guitar is one that you love to play. It is completely subjective. The thing is, I have found very few in my lifetime that I didn't like to play. So maybe all guitars are just great because, well, they are guitars.

I have always thought guitars are like golf clubs. Will someone play/sound better with all the best materials and adjustments to fit their style and physical make up? Absolutely. But give me a $5000 set of clubs and Tiger Woods my $200 set and we know what will happen :-)

I like this tune. I like the idea of the leads in between vocal lines...but the the lead sounds a little out of tune to my ears. I also would add some effects to the lead to put in some space, it just sounds too dry and up front to me.

Man, I love the vocals on this. She sings really well and all the recordings are nice and clean. I agree the crunchy guitar is a bit overwhelming when comes in, but just a touch. I like the energy there.

I recently bought the Steven Slate VSX headphone system and I think it's great so far. $300, but you get some nice cans as well. I was looking into small studio monitors and would have easily spent this much or more and would still be mixing in my living room or garage.
