Thanks so much for the reply! So here’s the problem in a nutshell. The original slot the bad card was plugged into was for Tracks 5 & 7. Track 5 stopped playback what was on the tape, but it would record. No VU action, and no audio through the monitor buss, or even the tape out of that track. So...
