    Roland audio interfaces

Thanks mates! I guess I’ll try it! Still looking for nicd buys in Japan. So far, seems worthy to look for Roland/Boss products, Sony headphones and Yamaha monitors. As for instruments, Fenders and Gretschs look like good options. Let’s see what I can find! Cheers!

    Roland audio interfaces

Hey lads, I’m going to Japan next week and I’m thinking about exploring the Roland world. Besides the amps and pedals, I was wondering if it was a good idea to buy a Roland Audio interface. However, you don’t see many comments on Roland interfaces. Do you guys think it worths the try? Or will I...

    Mixing Overdriven Vocals

Nice tips lads. Working on it. Thanks a million.

    Mixing Overdriven Vocals

Technique is ok I guess. Point is that I really want to enhance that raspy overdrive. Make it agressive. D’ya know?

    Mixing Overdriven Vocals

Hey lads, Quick question: do you have any special tricks to mix overdriven screaming vocals to enhance the singer’s technique? Sometimes I feel the overdriven vocals just get lost in the mix.

    Guitar without Amp Sim

Yup. Jeff Buckley played mainly a fender tele (through a 65 twin reverb and, sometimes, in a stereo dual rig with a mesa dual rectifier). Billy Bragg plays some custom boutique guitars, mainly t-style or jaguar style (through a fender hot rod deville, I guess). I have Gretsch G5425, with two...

    Guitar without Amp Sim

Mates, thank you all for the replies. Yes, Guitar Rig and Amplitube are great simulators. However, I guess my struggle was about the project itself. I mean, when I was recording voice, double track guitars, bass and midi drums, the sims worked perfectly. However, now I’m engaged in a voice &...

    Guitar without Amp Sim

I don’t think so neither. Sounds like crap. And I meant without using a proper DI Box for the guitar, like Radial Pro or something like that. Anyways, keep on working. Thanks mate.

    Guitar without Amp Sim

Well thought, mate. Indeed, I've only tried Guitar Rig 5 and Amplitube 4. Maybe other amp sims have what I want. I just assume that those two were the top ones and that wouldn't have better options. However, I was actually thinking about not using DI, or amp/cabinet sim at all. My question was...

    Guitar without Amp Sim

Lads, I’ve been in a struggle with my amp sims (guitar rig 5 and amplitube 4). I just can’t find the tone I want. So, I was wondering if any of you already recorded an electric guitar straight in the audio interface (without amp sim and DI). I’ve already tried but the sound was a bit poor...

    Best practice guitar amp

Subjective question mate. Really up to what you want to do. Personally, I would go for the Vox. I love the sound of Vox amps. Moreover, the Adio Ait GT has a bigger sound than the THR10. Really feels like you are playing in a big speaker amp.

    Recording guitar with audio interface

Oh boy. What's going on in there? Can you printscreen your Guitar Rig 5 preset? Does it sound like this while you are playing? Or only after recorded?

Need bass sound for my acoustic

Might help you to control the warbling. Dyna comp or something like that.

Need bass sound for my acoustic

Are you using any compressor pedal?

    Best audio/computer interfaces?

Hey Del. Hows it going? Mate, it really depends on what do you want to do. Those brands are all really good. However, Focusrite is the one that most of people use. Just make sure that the interface that you are buying has 4 basic things: - A xlr input for mic - A P10 input for instruments -...
