Would it be possible for some of you to post some examples of some projects before and after mastering, just to give those of us an idea of how mastering helps a mix? like take a project and post a before mastering example and an after mastering example. thanks

I'm not sure about this one, but it's been plagueing me. I'll do my final mixdown to wav. the volume is at about 23 db RMS. I'll use my normalizer in SF8 to raise the overall RMS to 16 db. In doing the it adds compression to keep the mix from clipping as the RMS is raised. the thing is my crash...

how come there's a hum from the strings on my bass. when i just touch them, the hum disappears. take my fingers off of them and the hum is back.

got a fender jazz bass. there's a concave bend to the neck. if i press down at the first fret and the last fret, there's about an 1/8" to 1/16" gap near the 8th fret from the string to the fret. need some help :confused:
