Recently I noticed when using a phase shifter either thru the amp or DI,(on/for my guitar) on my Tascam 48, the sounds sux! Doesn't sound ANYTHING like when playing it live. What could do this and how do I solve this? Thanks! Randal

Ok, ok, I know you guys are gonna hate me, I don't blame you, I hate myself. But I now have a huge problemo. I un-hooked all of the cables from my mixer to my machine to move everything elsewhere, and I somehow hooked it up wrong. When I record, I always put the piano on the first track. Well...

Well, I got my Tascam 48 back, hooked (plugged) all the cables back up and yikes! no sound! The mixer and amp is on, put a "known" tape that has audio on it, hit play and dead silence! No VU meters boucing, anything! Any suggestions? Thanks, Randal

Tim, I might have missed it, but I have been using Quantegy 456 1/2" for a few years now. However, I can't seem to find it, except for ebay. (used) Do you know where I might buy some? Or, is there any other tape that is compatible for use with my Tascam 48 and 38? Thanks! Randal
