Here are my Ludwig Rockers drums. I got them second-hand 10 years ago, and they were pretty smashed up. See top left of picture I recently re-coated them and bought new heads, including the bass drum head. Looks and sounds much better now :D

drums shouldn't be on TRACK 10, they should be assigned to midi CHANNEL 10 that sounds like it's your problem

MIDI would simply tell the computer signals that you are playing and what timing. It reaches the computer as just data. You then need to use software to recognise those signals and do something with them. Logic, Cubase, Project 5 etc will all allow you to assign sounds to each signal. So when...
