    JCM2000 TSL head - opinions

I actually run my TSL through 2 15" spearkers, to keep the volume down. You can crank up the tubes then.

    cheap guitars are better?

So I have 35 guitars or so. I have a $20k Gibson custom to a $75 Clasical. I can tell you 2 things: 1:) They all play great because they are good guitars. 2:) Given the choice, everyone that comes over, picks out the $1500 to $3000 guitars to play. That tells me, that given a choice, people...

    Taylors vs Martins

I play a Taylor 815 with Martin strings on it. Does that make me a diplomatic person? I would really like to get into some of these fist fights here, but I just don't give a sh*t what anyone else thinks. I like my Taylor and that's that. If you like your Martin, I think that's cool. If anyone...

    Painting a guitar.

Yes, you can use car paint. http://home.comcast.net/~bonrox/guitars/Callie.htm This is the one I had painted. It was done by a Harley shop. The biggest thing is to make sure it is filled, sealed, and sanded very well. I would also advise stripping it down.

    i love my les paul

I have a black custom LP. It's a good axe, but I have a say, I like my PRS 20th, better for playing and sound. I have a lot of very high end axes so this is a very honest opinion. I can't figure it out either. I am a devoted Gibsonaholic.

    Has Anyone Ever Made

You know, you could use some roller pots instead of knob type. You could mount them on the bottom edge, then you could have all wood on top with no knobs. They would be barely noticable and you would still have standard controls.

    Has Anyone Ever Made

Well, I actually went the other way. I put a 6 pos switch in, and 4 push-pull tone and volume. I have way lots of options as far as tone goes. While you might have more wood, I would rather have more control over tone. http://home.comcast.net/~bonrox/guitars/Callie.htm It's an electric guitar...

"How many guitars do you NEED?"

NotCardio So I guess the question here is how many do you need? Well, I bought a new Taylor 854 12 string today. Do I need it? Well, I did want it, so I guess I needed it. A lot of friends of mine come over to jam. They get to play whatever they want through any amp, and record (I won't...

"How many guitars do you NEED?"

Just on the side, while we are talking strings. My double neck is the biggest pain to change. With the 2 nnecks, you can't get on the tuner with a winder. So you have to hand wind 1/2 the strings (9 total). It really sucks.

"How many guitars do you NEED?"

Wow, you mean you can change strings? I would just buy a new axe. You get new strings with it, and that takes care of the issue of old strings.
