I have no probs with PT free I run PT free on my Indigo 350mhz imac and it records like a bitch. Are you using the internal sound card? if so go to control panel, sound and set the audio input as audio in. If that doesn't work and its not your adaptors, the audio input maybe f*%ked. Good luck

Musicians revolt It seems to me that the majority of pro studios are turning to Pro tools. The average project studio can maybe afford a digi 001 but not a full blown Digidesign system. My point is that how many home set ups have a digi 001 or similar setup? Perhaps room design is an issue...

I own a project studio The number of people hiring my project studio has dropped over the last year, this is probably due to more musicians recording at home on computer or similar devices.
