If i was to get the tascam is any of it software related? as in the ux2 i've seen that you can change the preamps your putting in, such as on youtube he dragged everything he wanted and then selected that group for his mic and guitar,

Hey ive got some serious problems and need advice..
Im using an audio technica at 3035 condenser microphone with a SE metal popshield
I have it going into a Behringer UltraGain T1953 Tube Preamp.. Then a S.com 4 Channel Compressor/Gate and a Alesis MultiMix 6 FX then to a pci sound blaster...
My pc came with a SoundBlaster X-FI Xtreme Audio Soundcard.. And im going to see what it does because its something to try yet,

What type on interface and since i did the line in input below xlr its worked a treat, its levels are back to normal, hardly any noise know and i can crank up the warmth on the vocals.. im still wondering on what next to get though if anyone can help
yeh i do the mixer is on a normal powered lead,
And also i'll try doing the output with some stereo leads to a line in input then on the mixer and try that its just then having the wasted space on volume control,
Tbh i think this was a big mistake getting one because i asked around for this one...
i have one input from the mic [condenser] to the preamp by XLR and then a XLR from the preamp's output to my alesis as a xlr input and then the alesis has 'Control RM Output' which has 2 stereo plugs which convert from L And R to one main jackplug into my soundcard

Hey sonicalbert ill get you a recording sample and i just noticed something strange.. when i don't have my mixer plugged in to the output of the preamp the dial goes back to -20 but with it plugged in it goes full out to the other side in red at +2,

As richard said to get it out of the room but i have seen on dolphin musics website and before i say i know your saying to do stuff and not waste money but for £24 i can get a small soundproofed recording booth which i found incredibal.. it may aturaly help
