HAve you been able to listen to the KSM44? that is one awesome mic. Did a female singer for a whole album with a borrowed one. It really gave it a warm vintage feel which is what I was going for. I suspect that the 27 is the 44 but one diaphragm only. The 44 has a 1 inch diaphragm.

I bought my J-station over a POD because of the bass amp included. I like the Modern setting with no effects. Anybody else use this setup? I have a Joemeek VC3Q, which I haven't tried in the signal chain. Any recommendations on using the Joemeek instead of the JStation compressor?

aa, so sometimes what I am hearing is a VERY closely tracked doubled vocal? How do you keep it from sounding the 'same'. If you know what I mean, sometimes I double a vocalist and you can barely hear that they are different tracks. What are some effects or techniques used to get nice separation?

OK, I assume t-racks is going to be the worst of these. I still am able to get pretty decent sounds out of it after some tweaking. It definitely polished up my tracks. Where in the spectrum does Ozone fall if t-racks is at the bottom and Waves is at the top? I guess those would really knock me...
