It's nice, I like it. To my ear, the immediate thing that I'd change is to back off the background vocals and pay attention to the lead vocal as it starts to get a bit swamped/lost after the 3 minute mark, and perhaps at times before.

2014 arrangement? I don't understand. The video I posted is from 2014, It is the same recording you posted but with different treatment. I prefer the way the recording was mixed in 2014 rather than what you've done with it now. The arrangement is identical as it's the same recording, maybe...

I think I prefer the 2014 version, it has a better balance for my liking with the vocal taking prominence.

Love the song, it struck a chord with me and has been added to my playlist. The pacing is so good and I didn't even realise the song was over six minutes long the first couple of listens I gave it, great. However, I agree with this, It'll be interesting to see which way you go with it...
