Even the most mundane thing is inspiration. I wrote a song about junk mail. There is to much entropy in the world and if were not careful, we'll be buried in junk mail. ;-)

The best writers ever were J.S. Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. Stravinsky, Bartok, Schoenberg, Rodgers and Hammerstein, The Beatles, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, and the list can go on. You have to find out who you like and let the music take you where you want to go.

I think it could be a great song if the vocals were not so ludicrous. TBBH, who wants to listen to that crap? The song without the lyrics the way they are is really nice and I want to hear it. I would love to hear it again with a better vocal mix. Other than that, I really like the song.

I have to ask, why try and mix mp3s? It would be better to use a host site and upload 24bit files. If your asking for someone to mix your song, give them the best format you can.

It's only a USB 1.1 device so that may be the problem. It may be that there are no 64bit drivers for that device. Can you try it on a 32bit platform and see what happens?

I like a lot of the mixes myself. There were a lot of people who did not catch certain things in the mix though. I think I got them all. I saw a comment on people maximizing their mixes. I did mine. If they want it unmastered, it can easily be done.
