NOT a crate, NOT Line 6 those are the only solid state amps I have really played through and hate them I prefer tubes.

It got good reviews and sold fairly well, for being something out of the mainstream.

A band called Starflyer 59 put out a record that was all mono a few years ago. I think it was called leave here a stranger. I would have never thought about it giving it a casual listen. It was a pretty good record.

I don't think I want to go that low. They are going for around $200 new and $189 on ebay. You can have it $150 shipped and it will go out first thing tommorrow (if you use paypal).

I'm switching to a mac so I have some stuff to sell: -custom built Athlon xp system (I think 2500+) 2 hard drives, 512mb, firewire, usb2.0, set up for dual monitors, lot of other stuff. Built it myself with everthing I wanted for my setup. I will get out the specs for anyone truly intersted...

As far as I know, they are the same, I just own one 58, and if I use it for something other than vocals, I take the ball off, and use it like a 57. The ball really does make a difference in the sound. You would be surprised. I would say just buy 57's, unless you are using them for live...

There was a really good article about this in the last tape op. It recommended a tea called throat coat. You can get it in the organic food sections. It has some ind of tree bark that coats your vocal chords. I tried it just to say if I liked it, but have not tried it before singing to see...

I've got a tascam - a 246. It's supposed to be about the best they ever made, and I would agree. I had heard that these were good, and bought two of them, and was realy surprised at the great sound they got, and all the routing options, And it's for sale- If you're interested
