i'm selling a Peluso CEK-89 capsule. for info on this capsule, check out this link:
Peluso Microphone Lab
i intended to use it in a project mic i had going, but it didn't really work out (no fault of the capsule). it's in like new condition...very carefully handled and used for about an hour...
i know it's been a while, but i randomly decided to pop a Peluso CEK-89 capsule in this mic just for fun, and holy crap. this thing sounds completely different. the cap replacement was subtle (like most mods, in my experience), but this is intense. check it out:

i'm selling a like-new AudioFire2, it's only been used a couple of times. discs and all cables included (power adapter, midi breakout, and firewire cable), but i can't find the box.
$105 shipped and PayPal'd in the US. Pickup available in the Providence, RI area.
hello. i'm selling an assembled SCA D11 module (transformerless version). i've built a bunch of these over the years, so no worries about the build quality. it was used for about a year in my studio, and it worked and sounded great.

agreed. it was a mistake to imply that it is "impossible" the improve the DMP3. just hardly worth the trouble, in my opinion. the chance of noticeably improving the sound is very slim, and the chance of ending up with a paperweight with VUs is pretty good (at least with my skill level). i've...
congrats evm1024! as i said in a previous post, with INA163s, quality caps, and an extremely tight enclosure, i'll be surprised if you can eek any more out of that box without doing some damage. but pleasantly surprised! prove me and mshilarious wrong.
yeah, i've eyed that mic for a while. if it cost $89, i'd already have one. not that $250 is crazy expensive, but it's such a special effect thing, i just can't validate spending the money. but a cool product none-the-less.
yeah, you might not beat a 58 for $100...depending on what type of music you're recording. by "actual vocal mic" do you mean a LDC? in that case, you could try a whole bunch of MXLs for around $100 (used and new). the v67g is a good place to start.
i just thought anti's good deed was shaping up to be in vain. 7-8 total votes didn't really seem like enough to reflect who really deserves his gift, which was the whole idea. i put up some posts, i got exactly one more vote, and evm1024's total shot through the roof. dang donkey and thajeremy...
it's not the most versatile microphone, but if you're talking sub-$150 mics, you can't ignore the Cascade FatHead. the box it comes in looks like it's worth $150.
i've put up a few posts encouraging voting in general, and i apologize if it was obnoxious. but it's just because i think the quantity of votes is directly related to the spirit and integrity of the giveaway concept.
