I've been a full-time journalist for 35 years, and a part-time musician for as long as I can remember. I play both acoustic and electric guitars, and can pound chords on the keyboard. I've recorded with a Tascam 8-track and have been experimenting with Cakewalk X1 digital studio since 2011.

After playing guitar and otherwise enjoying music, I read a lot and tend a vegetable garden in the summer.
