    Recomendations for live metal band

IMO I'd recruit first. I wouldn't purchase any gear until you're sure the new member is comfortable with it. They will most likely have a preference. If they don't, I'd definitely go with a computer set-up. It will be pretty pricey, but get a DAW computer and a nice MIDI keyboard for the...

how does one promote myspace to get massive hits

Amen. Trust me, add big bands that you sound like/take inspiration from. Every time I add a big band, I get at least 1 invite from someone who saw that I was friends with them. Sounds very weird, but it works. Add small bands especially, because they will always take a look at your page.

Mindset Music Group's & My first Copyright Infringment Case

Haha I was worried for a second, thought maybe you got an infringement case against you guys. Anyway, good luck with your case. Is there anyway you can post more information, once the case evolves to a point where you are able to? I think it would be pretty cool to be able to see what the whole...

Everything you need to know to start recording.....beginners only

I'd suggest you get a mod to remove the 'beginners only' part of the title and sticky this. This is a great guide for everyone, and a great reference if you ever need one.

    Strange popping on pick

Okay, so I was tracking a song with my band the other day. We had the guitarist play through to warm up, and it sounded fine. Then he tuned, and his guitar started making a strange, almost popping sound when he picked. I don't have the recording on me, but I'll post it as soon as I can if would...

    Physical limits of drummers?

Don't pay attention to what drums you're hitting. Pay attention to the counting.

    Physical limits of drummers?

God damn it I know I uploaded the file, it's a shitty hosting site though. Never seen that file before. Try this, it should work.

    Physical limits of drummers?

Just to clarify, this is the speed we are talking about. I apologize for whatever the hell it was linking to before, it must have been because I was trying to bypass the download page.

    Physical limits of drummers?

Guys, he goes to the Paul Green School Of Rock Music. It's so selective; he must know what he's talking about.

3 practice amps to gig with?

They can mic amps for us, but I've been there a couple times and it's small enough that drums are always audible unmiced. The bands that play there usually get around 50 people max, but the band we're playing with always packs the place like sardines; they put on a great stage show.

3 practice amps to gig with?

Don't mean to hijack the topic, but I got a quick question. My band is doing our first gig in June in a place that we're expecting to get around 150-200 to show up. (Playing with a band that consistently gets around 100-150, we're expecting around 50 for us.) Our guitarists have Line 6 Spider...
