    I feel really bad

I had no idea there were any current DAW's that didn't support ASIO. It's been around for almost 30 years. Move on from Audacity. EL

    I feel really bad

Hi doppelsmoker. I'm assuming you are referring to the Tascam Model 12? From what I've read, these are great units. I'm considering the Model 2400 if / when my Soundcraft packs it in. Have you checked to make sure that the Tascam is selected within Abelton, as the audio interface, using ASIO...

I bought a crazily cheap 'Neumann' TLM103 and it's really decent!

I know eh? What's that aboot. The price also double since the last time I looked at it. $39.00 instead of $23 or something like that. It's also 59% off, which is new, or I didn't notice last time I looked. EL

I've been struggling with mouth noises and wondering if there's a solution...?

I think it's supposed to work like a make-shift pop filter.

    Ahhh Chirbuli!

High energy, everything is performed really well. Ned's really pounding those skins on this one. Didn't notice any unusual low end issues. It does sound a little bit mid-range hyped, but it may be the speakers I'm listening on. I'll listen to it on my other speakers this week. You should...

I've been struggling with mouth noises and wondering if there's a solution...?

I run into this problem always, with my vocals. Most clicks / pops / mouth noises happen after or at the beginning of a 'word'. I wouldn't use 'de-clicking' software to deal with this. I'd zoom in on the waveform and crop the waveform to remove the offending section. Sometimes, an...

Great video and comparison. I was about to order two of them, but sadly they will not ship to Canada. Oh well. EL

    Save Me

Bulls Hit: Thanks so much for the listen. I grew up listening to what my brother listened to, who is 10 years older. So, it was mostly Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and lots of other stuff from the 70's. That might be the old school influences. Papanate: Thank you for checking this one out...

Hi Keano12, I don't know what they are adding, I jumped ship before it sailed. Not interested in finding out. Studio One is a great product, but the continuous feature adding and reliance on an Internet connection got to me after awhile. EL

New song slightly remixed. Would appreciate feedback.

Catchy tune. Lots has been addressed in this thread already, but thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I also thought it sounded very 'AI'. I guess we are all a little paranoid / suspicious these days, and it is hard to tell what is what anymore. I didn't find it overly bright. I do find it...

    Save Me

La9: Thank you for checking it out. I recently got that particular bass guitar setup, and it plays much better. (80's Fender Jazz). keano12: Appreciate you taking the time to listen to it. I do like adding backup vocals, especially when they are not me. Adds some variation.

This is one of the reasons I ditched Studio One and went to Samplitude. Too much Internet integration in Studio One, as well as they are moving towards 'AI' integration. EL

    New DAW PC build 2025

Hi Kwall, Multitrack recording on computers doesn't require a super-computer. An i9 won't do much more for you, especially with your relatively modest track count. My recommendations: - Intel i7 14th Gen, one that has integrated graphics capability. i.e. not a F version. AMD are ok, but I...
