    This is very stupid question. I just got a Tascam TSR 8 in perfect condition, however the take up reel is a little different than my old Fostex R8.     Syncing TSR8 with DA78

    Tascam TSR8 and DA78

    I'm in the process of hooking up these units and doing a smpte sync. I'm undicided if I should record on th DA78 using the db25 balenced inputs or go through the rca's like the Tacsam TSR reel to reel has. Any thoughts as to what might work best?

    Anyone have any idea the easiest and most accurate way to sync a Tascam TSR 8 to a DA88 or ADAT? Does the DA88 or ADAT have any advantages to each other in syncinh to analog decks?

    Does an anyone have any insights as to the easiest and most accurate way to sync a Tascam TSR 8 anaolg multi-track to an adat or da88? Also, would the da88 sync easier?
