I am buying a new 3005 in black sparkle , Cant wait, they are truly are amazing and beat pearl mapex etc anyday! Sonor make the best drums in the world. I think you would be better getting 3005's then add drums on as you can afford them :) there just wicked quality.

sonor, the rolls royce of drums. Any day I would pick these over any other drum manufacturer. They beat dw or pearl or any other drum kit for price and performance too!

definatley go for a paiste set with a sound edge for recording, wouldnt trust anything else in the studio or live
