You should be careful with adjustments, without knowing what are you are doing is very easy to ruin what was right, and have a hard time to go back.

Hello again. Trying to repair one MG14D. It is stuck on that loop that goes from eject to stop and eject again. It don't enter stop mode. I think the gear cam it is aligned... any idea? Thanks

Select all tracks, on middle mode (track, not line or mic) and press record. The guys at VST, did they gave you any additional or usefull info you could share about maintenance, tapes or related to this machines? Thanks anyway.

have you tried cleaning it with hot water and dishwashing soap? sometimes it helps. It helped on mine... Anyway, the size is the same as some others VCRs. I think is... but not sure 100% outer diameter = 12 shaft diameter = 2 height = 18

The white wheel in relation of the other little black wheel that comes from the other side. Maybe just moving a few dents it is enough... I am not sure.. but i've been in that situation two weeks ago, and I think that was the reason....

the master output was not working. A few tracks from the master board were damaged, same as an IC, an M5218L, near the top. Now everything seems to work. Only the counter is reading while recording the sync track, but not reading nothing later. Anyway the rest it is working, channels and...

Hello again. I sanded the idler tire. Clean old grease. Cam repaired too, it was broken. The thing now it is I have to push the tape a little to get all functions working properly. Any idea? Thanks
