yo i started my own site for just this reason last year! i kind of wanted somewhere to promote my own stuff really. it does take a LOT of time though... things i've mainly found to help though - firstly, content is all. so make it good! maybe focus on links to netlabels, unsigned bands...

hi, just thought you guys might be interested in this - there's going to be a free I.D. & Baobinga album released on March 1st. (we released stuff on labels before, now it's time to try a new way...) It will be available through www.bassmusicblog.com, but we're also blogging about the process...
