As far as I can tell, just the amount of RAM your system can support. 32 bit OS's are limited to 4 Gig max, but can only access something like 3 to 3.5 Gig depending on your system. To where as Windows 7 Professional 64 bit can access up to 192 Gig and Windows XP Professional 64 bit is limited...

Unfortunately, Evans pulled that off of their site as far as I can tell. Maybe they are adding their new lines to it...or at least I hope they are. That chart was very helpful.

Learned that lesson the hard way years ago when we first started recording. Thought we'd be clever and mount all of the mics on the rack with LP Claws. I can't put into words how awful that sounded. Every surface struck started a rumble of shit through every mic.

I have had my drums on a Pearl ICON rack for years and it never occurred to me before, but in a studio setting would individual stands be better? I was thinking to myself that since the rack is essentially a piping system it probably conducts energy from one surface to another quite well...
