hi
do you guys happen to know any vocal effect that can make a grown male vocal sound - sound like it's a 6 to 9 year old kid ?
and that can be integrated with cubase 5 (a VST for example) ?
is there such a thing ?
hi
I have a project of a few midi tracks using microsoft gs wavetable and a few using VST instruments.
there seems to be a gap, a time difference - in playback between the two.....seems like the tracks that are using VST instruments come earlier...the ones using wavetable are heard with a...
I just realized something.
most of the publishing of my music will be on youtube or other video hosting sites.
that means that people will hear my music , for the first time, on their crappy computer speakers.
not headphones (mostly).
how did I come to that conclusion ? I thought of how I...
hey
I've been spending hours trying to find somewhere to buy an audio interface online but almost none ship internationally.
do you know of any who does?
ok, easy one:
there is an input in which you can plug either XLR or 1/4" jack? a "combo" input?
I'm familiar with the XLR input in which you usually plug a microphone.
I'm also familiar with the 1/4 inch jack in which instruments are plugged in, an electric guitar for instance.

I will record electric and acoustic guitar, and vocals.
I'm a little confused about this the phantom power\preamp thing.
in an audio interface - isn't phantom power a gain used to boost signal? isn't that called pre-amping...
Hi
this might sound a little strange but: can I use my Zoom8080 electric guitar multi-effects as a microphone preamp with my shure c606 microphone ?
I think it has a built in preamp because I don't need an amp when I record it with cubase. just the electric guitar to zoom8080 to computer.
did...
I found one in the back of the closet. it's a few (ok, more than a few) years old.
was looking a mic because I need to record vocals with an OK quality for a few songs using Cubase.
I don't have a pro home studio. I just need to know if it's a reasonable microphone to start with.
