Terratec is leaps and bounds ahead of Creative. The comparison has no merit.

I'd say decidedly not...... It's a very good recording card and designed for that purpose. I've had the SBLive, Audigy and Audigy 2 and non of them came close the to the Terratec 6 fire when it came to recording transparency. Do your homework a little bit and you'll find it uses the same...

I do the same thing as far as asio for some stuff and wdm for sonar and it doesn't seem to cause me any noticeable problems. Are you experiencing noise right now?

How would anything like that differ from say , an Alan Parsons production like "Dark Side of The Moon" or his solo colaborations? There are so many layers to that music that you can peel them away for years, listen after listen and you still hear something new everytime....:)
