I'm thinking about picking up a digi002 and selling my mbox 2 pro factory. Is it a major ordeal to transfer ownership of all the plugins and everything? Or should i just save myself the trouble and just sell the mbox with PT install discs?

Apparently this company http://www.psystar.com is selling a non apple computer running osx. It's looks like a mini tower and has pretty good specs and is selling for $400!!! Of course, this violates Apple's EULA, but if they somehow aren't shut down, this could be a great option for anyone...

I just found out that my pro tools teacher at school uses a tablet as a pointing device. He is one of like 5 people in the world with all three digi 310 certifications and pretty retarded at pro tools. Wondering if anyone else is using these? If so, what kind? Recommend one to try out?

So when installing PT 7.3, if I don't check the midi IO driver in the install options, everything works fine. Except when I run protools, I can't use my midi. When I do check the midi box in the install dialog, it tells me that protools install was not successful and I should try again...
