    The people at the Audacity help forum either have no clue or they don't care. The AUP files have changed to .mo files and I need to recover the missing AUP files. If anybody knows what to do in this situation please let me know. You can see the problem in the attachment.

    where do I get DRIVERS for E MU1212 on windows7 ?

    This is A problem with older soundcards when the maker (in this case Creative) no longer supports the outdated product.The drivers that came with the card are for XP. If someone could tell me how to get this to work on Win 7 I'd really appreciate it !

    newbie interested in various recording technics

    I've been using Audacity for A few years now to record streaming audio on my PC. All music is FROM cd's(no mp3) E MU souncard is set at 24/48khz.(maybe it's 32 bit float) anyway, the quality is good, but I am curious of how you would record this type of media?
