The people at the Audacity help forum either have no clue or they don't care. The AUP files have changed to .mo files and I need to recover the missing AUP files. If anybody knows what to do in this situation please let me know. You can see the problem in the attachment.

Now that I've found E mu sound cards will work on Win 7 I must base my new PC purchases around that card, which is PCI not PCIe. What's A good Mobo (if any) that carries a couple PCI slots? Thanks....I appreciate your help

This is A problem with older soundcards when the maker (in this case Creative) no longer supports the outdated product.The drivers that came with the card are for XP. If someone could tell me how to get this to work on Win 7 I'd really appreciate it !
