Thanks mixsit I tried going out of the main 1/4in outs like you said and also realized that i needed to use the dual function to get the line input to work. I should have thought of using the main outs but that would have been too simple. Thanks for your help all.

can't find a line out but it does have a rec out which needs the 1/8th inch (red a whites) and i do have an adapter from 1/8th to 1/4 to go into the tascam but i'm still not getting a signal. I wonder if the adapter is broken or if there is some sort of lvl control for the rec out. I can't seem...

I own this machine and am wondering if you can only EQ before recording and not after when it's down on tape. I have another tascam that will let you eq after the fact. Am I making a simple mistake or is that just the way it is? Any Leads?
