    I have 12 channel mixer and just a regular sound card that comes with computers. I'm using multi-track software... Since i do not have a sound card with multiple ins and outs and i really don't wanna buy one. Which method should i use to record a band which consists of drums, bass , guitar...

    can I get good recording with CEP and a 16 channel...

    If i use cool edit pro with a 16 channel mixer and the full-duplex sound card which came with my computer...will i be able to do good recordings or do i need more crap?

    Illegal operations

    does anyone know why, and what i can do about cool edit pro telling me it has done an illegal operation in the middle of recording a track. Why does it do that, and what can i do about it?
