the guitars sound nice. very lush. The kick is pretty big too. overall, the mix works for me. the vox could take a more upfront presence though. I was wishing for a strong wildcard in the song but it did not really come. still not a bad song though and the mix works .

are you boosting the high end? if you are, stop. Its a good mix. I like the gits. if you are using a mic that boosts the high end, roll it off. Get closer to the mic for proximity effect ie one inch to the mic.

I respectfully disagree. I am not a sax player, but as a listener, I love the tone. It is very smooth. You can turn it up loud without introducing harsh harmonic artifacts, or you can just keep it low and have it set the mood. This mix is perfect. you can hear everything and nothing calls undue...

the low end is not really there. the guitars are small because they lack any low end. pretty decent otherwise
