I really, really like my AEA R92 on violin. It was just a touch dark for the last song I recorded, but the R92 takes so well to EQ, I just brightened it up a touch and it was absolutely perfect.

False premise. The 205 doesn't necessarily sound better than the 210. It depends on what you want. I sold my Nady RSM-2 (which is the same as the 210) to get an AEA R92, and now I miss it a lot because the Nady is the best glockenspiel mic I've ever used, and I record a lot of glockenspiel...
