Shagfu is right. Ed uses his volume knob to cut the beginning off of each note and create the "bowed" sound. Its a magnificent piece of work.

I second what Doc said about the slide-out drive. I have a slide-out that is fantastic. I can just swap projects when I need to.

This isn't synth related, but you know what instrument I'd like to have? A Kramer Ripley guitar. It has a special pickup that is split into six seperate signals, one for each string, and those are wired to stereo pan-pots. So in essence, you have a stereo guitar. If you listen to Top Jimmy...

That's cool. I think MAudio has the manual online somewhere...at least they used to. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm looking at the manual and I was wrong. The diagrams don't show this type of connection. What you described sounds right to me.

That sounds right to me. I have a 1010, doesn't the manual have a section in it were it shows diagrams for just this sort of thing? I don't have it here, but I'm pretty sure it does.
