When creating drum tracks, should a new track be MIDI or INSTRUMENT?

Thanks jimmy.... I figured out how to merge them without modifying them at all. I hit "solo" on each of the 19 tracks, went to File and clicked "export", then audio mixdown Selected "Import to pool/audio mixdown And that worked. It is seamless like I played the parts from start to finish!

I've read other posts, but not found one with the exact same problem. First, I am a bad keyboard player so I can only record one item (verse, chorus, turnaround etc..)at a time without screwing up. I now have 17 separate tracks which comprise the whole song start to finish. Each one of those...
