Big Daddy Cee

Greetings,

Starting at the tender age of 14, so young that on quite a few gigs he had to disguise himself as an older man, Cee was an actively gigging keyboard player, working hard to perfect his chops. He has opened as well as played for such groups as Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Cheryl "Pepsi" Riley, and the BT Express. Cee also played keys for the legendary Soul group "Blue Magic".......and all this before his 30th birthday!

But what he wanted more than anything was to branch out and hone his songwriting skills.

In late 2001 Cee had two of his tracks placed with former band mate and up and coming Jazz Sax man Alfonzo Blackwell which were released on AB's 2nd and 3rd CD's. This allowed Cee the resources to flesh out his home studio Claretoria Soundworks, and begin recording the beautiful, poly rhythmic, and densely complex Jazz/R&B pieces that have become his signature!

Let the Journey begin........
