I am thinking of buying a wireless guitar rig. I've seen rack mounted units like the Line6 G90, stomp boxes like the Line6 G50 and then units like the Shure's that are neither stomp nor rack mount. Sound, features, etc. aside...what are your opinions on stomp vs. rack vs. shelf units?

Hey all...last night, I upgraded from 8.5.2 to 8.5.3 (Producer). Now when I open a file, or save a file, the file status bar comes up at the bottom of the screen...and no kidding each file operation lasts about 5 minutes. This is killing me. Anyone else seeing this with 8.5.3? Is it possible to...

The second mix is much better. I still wouldn't mind a little more presence in the whole mix, but as it is, its pretty damn nice.

Very solid mix. Maybe a touch less cymbals, and a touch more vocals and kick. Great mix, very crisp. Very pro sounding.

I agree with everything Gecko said. Sounds like you have some cool ideas, and the ability to play, the mix just needs work.

I guess I should be more specific...I have an already tracked vocal, on which I'd like to simulate a megaphone effect instead of re-tracking with a megaphone.

Hey all...I am working in Sonar 8.5. I am looking for a nice megaphone effect for a vocal track. Does anyone know of a good, quick and dirty VST (preferably free of course), or better yet, a recommendation on EQ, Compression, et. al that could accomplish this without any fancy tools? JD.
