PCI soundcard vs. USB -Pros & Cons?

USB Bandwidth isn't 1.25MB/s the limitation for USB1.1? USB2.0 is supposed to be "capable" of 480Mbps (=60MB/s) right? Don't mind me.. I have no idea what I'm talking about.... yinsern

Is it possible to use both ProTools AND Cubase?

That's what I was worried about. Getting everything synched up.. I guess at the end of the day, I could always whack everything into wave files and import them to pro tools then do the same with the drum tracks the other way when i re-transport into Cubase... Is there any less painful way...

How much do I intend to spend?

Not too much. I just found out that the A62m is actually more expensive than the MBox here in Malaysia... So now I'm seriously considering making the switch to Pro Tools. What experience have you had with M-Audio stuff? I've heard a lot of people complain about driver and USB issues with the...

Cubase + (Emagic A62m or M-Audio Quattro USB or M-Audio Firewire Audiophile). OR Mbox

Hello all.. I'm looking for an inexpensive audio interface that i can use with my laptop and my home pc for some basic recording... It doesn't have to be top quality or anything, but it would be nice if my recordings don't sound too shoddy. I used to have a MOTU 24i (a mistake... I only ever...
