Why can't you get the pod for christmas demo it along side some plug in sims and see what results you get? At least with the Pod you get a sound card out of the deal right? If it were me i'd get the pod and demo some free amp sim plugs and make my decision afterwards.

I didn't know they had metal in Spain. Cool. NOt a bad mix. I kind of think the vocals might be a smidge to up front. Metal is a guitar driven music. I would would bring them up or beef them up a bit and just bring those vocals back a hair and give em a little bit of depth for atmos-fear...

This is pretty cool. I personally think Steve Earle sucks but you somehow made this song palatable and make me not want to punch hillry swank in the throat. I agree with the comment above about your vocals. they could come up a little. And your elec guitars seem really thin and kind of gross...
