I have been a videoconferencing engineer since 1996. In the 1980s I had my own computer store, THE COMPUTER ROOM, in Thousand Oaks, CA. I now live in the Salt Lake City area.
I maintain a small recording studio in my basement, which has an analog DDA QII 32 channel mixer, Otari MTR-12 4track reel-reel, Focusrite A/D and preamps,SONY DA-88 8 track digital recorder, several large PAIA modular synthesizers, Paia Fatman, a Moog Subsequent 37, Yamaha S90-XS keyboard, Emu Virtuoso 2000, Blacet modules and a slew of outboard gear and homemade synth modules. I even have an Alphasyntauri synth run by an Apple II!
Mics include CAD e300 and e100, PZMs, AKG, Audio Technica, Sterling, Shure 57/58, modified MXL 990 and Octava mics.
My DAW is CubaseSX and Presonus StudioLive.
Monitors are Eris 5, JBL 308 MkII, small Teac and modified Alesis speakers.
Meters by Dorrough.
Guitars by Epiphone, Guild Pilot bass and Ibanez.
Roland, Fender and VOX amplifiers.
