In my experience, most vocal booths have a big pane of glass, for the vocalist to see the other band members, control room cues, etc. That's a lot of hard surface for which to compensate. Perhaps it would be better for us to refer to an "iso booth", and treat for all the anomalies. Flutter...

Keep in mind also that YouTube videos have massive amounts of audio compression. The sounds on them will always be different than when you use the product at home. Not necessarily "better", but rather "pushy" and pumped up.

It's as Tadpui said. There's some good stuff that needs to be centralized and kept in play. Unfortunately, in the less-traveled corners of the forum, these little gems get overlooked. As long as there's no expiration on the download, let's make sure we let people know about them.

A good song is a good song despite a bad mix. However, a bad mix doesn't let people hear a good song to its' fullest potential.

The current version of Audacity has a sliding time scale/pitch shift function, presumably for such an occasion. And it's free... :) Since it's an audio editor, it's handy for these kinds of situations. If you have a pal with resto skills (like Steenamaroo), then by all means let him have a go.

When I looked on the Hydrogen download page, it was specific: the Windows download binaries were listed as "unstable". As in version 0.9.6alpha1 unstable... it was developed as a Linux program from the word go. Good on them; we Windows Washers can't always get what we want. This is the big risk...

Rob is essentially correct... twisting the head or torso does impede breathing technique. My vocal coach told me it's better to stand back.
