    br80 vs br800

I have a BR800 and love using it for recording. I also use Reaper and Cakewalk DAWs for recording. I find it easier, and faster to record on the BR800, and I will also export the tracks from the BR800 into Reaper (actually I just brought Cakewalk SONAR since it was $29) for adding drum loops (I...

    Very new to Reaper

I use a Edirol UA-4FX external USB audio with Reaper. It works great with Reaper, and comes bundled with SONAR LE. My PC hangs with SONAR, but I can use the DX plugins with Reaper. Cakewalks Tape Sim is great, you can use it to add warmth to any track.

    SONAR > REAPER switch.

I have Reaper & love recording with it. I really hadn't ever recorded on my PC, I have a BOSS BR-8, BR-600 and BR-1600 recorders, and my PC wasn't really set up for recording. But I wanted to learn more about PC recording. My brother sent me a Edirol UA4FX external audio device that came...

    Br1200cd

I have a BOSS BR-600 and a BR-1600, and I agree that are easy to use. I'm surprised that you don't use the BR-1200 drums. It's really easy to arrange the drum patterns into an arrangement, note I didn't say program. The BR-1200's drum patterns are broken down into six parts Intro, Verse1...

    BR600 won't turn on

    Boss Br-900 Cd

I have a BR-600 & BR-1600, plus Reaper with a Edirol UA-4FX, the BR recorders are easier. With the BR-900, it has a CD burner built-in, no computer needed for mixdown. If you want to save money, get the BR-600. It's great for quick song ideas recording. I used the BR-600 for writing songs, my...

    Insert verb

By default, a small amount of reverb is applied to the input. To remove the reverb: 1. Press the LOOP EFFECTS button. 2. CURSOR to "[REV]", and press ENTER. 3. CURSOR left to IN Send. 4. Turn the TIME/VALUE wheel clockwise to reduce the value to zero.

    Boss BR 600 Effects ??

    BOSS DR-5 Owners

Have you seen this site http://www.rubicsys.demon.co.uk/paul/dr5faq.htm ? There is also a software editor for the DR-5 http://www.rubiconsystems.com/dr5edit/index.htm .

    BOSS DR-5 Owners

You have to 'copy' the pattern to a empty pattern 'user' slot in order to change the tempo.

    DR 670 w/ BR 1180

Use a RCA stereo patch to the DR-670's R&L 'Line-Out' to the BR-1180's R&L 'Line-In, arm two tracks and record. The BR-1180 drums will generate a MIDI clock if you use one of BR-1180's drum pattern. The DR-670's drums should receive on MIDI Ch 10, I have a DR-5 and it receives on Ch 10. Use a...

    Br900cd Usb

From what I understand, you should see the BR-900 as a external hard-drive under My Computer, you don't need any special drivers. There is a new system update for the BR-900 http://www.rolandus.com/support/downloads_updates/eula.aspx?ObjectId=1818, if you don't already have it installed.
