You dropped the link into the very wrong forum. people there take mastering very seriously because many are Mastering Engineers. What you want to do is make things louder & the folk in that forum are on one side of the Loudness war & your post comes from the other.
If you want it louder use a master limiter or normalize etc BUT do it knowing that you'll get increased vol at a cost to the dynamics of the piece. Do a search re loudness wars in the forum & get some background in it.
