So like....you've posted this same thing 3 times in the last week.

Take a hint...if people don't respond...posting it again a few days later...and then yet again a few days later...is not going to get you anything more than negative responses.

Your singing is not that good...and if you can't hear that, then what difference does ti make what anyone else thinks.

LISTEN to your own recording.
Do YOU think it sounds good?
Do YOU think you're staying in pitch?
Do YOU think it's OK for your voice to crack on the high notes?

That's as honest as I can be, and it wasn't easy listening to the whole thing.

That aside...most people can learn to sing pretty decent....but pretty decent is a LONG way off from trying to cover a Demi Lovato song...and to tell the truth, I don't think even she's that great a singer. She real good, but not in that "diva" class...not a Dion or Carey or Aguilera...
So my advice...go take some singing lessons from someone that can help you listen and hear your own singing for what it is...and then you might get pretty decent at some point...

...but for now....I would take down ALL those links you've posted for people to check out your singing....until you at least start to sound pretty decent.
I think you probably could improve a lot, you have a pretty strong voice...but you really need to first hear what is not good...especially the going of pitch as much as you do whenever the melody is a bit more demanding.

Pitch -and tuning, can be a bear, and it likely can take some time and focus listening to dial in on. In a casual for fun setting eh, a little slop' you can get away with.
In a recording- it doesn't work like that. Our brain won't compensate' for it like a casual live for fun thing.
For my experience once you dial in on what 'in tune sounds like... playing with guitars for example not dialed in, is near painful.

Considering that the first thread was posted a week ago, then a second thread a few days ago (both deleted now)...and then finally this one....

...it actually took much longer than it should have. :)

I think he was making a passive aggressive comment about how this section is brand new and there's already been a controversy regarding a "Can I sing" thread.

Yeah....I got that.

But I'm keeping it amusing and not taking that bait. :)

Like Steen said...this is a public forum, anyone can post...and when people ask for honest comments, I think they should get them. ;)

Relax. It's amusing to me this thread got use so quickly - then the OP chimed back at an honest critique with the equivalent of "Your mom". Chili's right - he got exactly what he asked for.

It was a "she".

She even took it to a PM... :D...but now I think Wilson has left the building.

Anyone else picture the dude when reading this comment?

It's a chick, isn't it?

The backing track is rather too quiet, which makes any faults quite glaring, and the eq of the vocal is a little harsh. The vocal could do with being heavily compressed and e.q.d better. There are tuning issues and some of the attempted vocal gymnastics don't come off, which adds to an amateurish overall feel. Singing the song more simply and paying better attention to pitch would improve this.
