very, VERY, very Go Betweens like. & THAT'S a compliment in a VERY big way.
A little Boo Radleys too. All in all with the exception of the drums which needs some work on levels etc, very cool.
If you know some GB's look into the sweet lyricism of the Grant McLennan songs more than the charming oddness of the Robert Foster ones.
You do need some tweaking here & there but I've downloaded this to keep (and please post any tweaks so I can update.)

I have an anoying habbit of after I mix something, to stick to that mix and stand behind it. I don't know why. I could just be lazy, so there probably won'd be any updates. Though, I am really really glad you liked it. I am very proud of it myself. I just didn't know how anybody else would take it. Thanks for making my day.

Great song! Nice vocal harmonies.

Generally a good mix, but I think the acoustic guitar could be more 'present' or 'up front'.

Also, there was a good amount of distortion on the whole song, like it was mixed down too hot.

Good job.

I felt that the heavy limiting was a bit too heavy at times. Gets pretty pumpy. Other than that, sounds good.

I like.

Um, I didn't mention this last time, but the cymbals sound pretty loud to me. I find myself having to listen to this song at low volumes. Other than that, sounds really good. And I try not to say that to too many people.

I just knew the symbols were too loud. Darn. Hhh. I'll try to fix it later.

Love the lyrics, and your voice as well. Great change at about the 3 minute mark.

Good stuff, propman. No nits from me, least not over my cheap headphones at work.

So the distortion I was hearing must have been on my end somehow. 'Cause you guys would definetely have noticed it.

Again, nice job.

Really enjoyed that song. I really like the weird harpy sound after the first(?) chorus. Lovely mandolin too.

Where'd you get the drums?

Sounds fine to me. If I had to nit something, I think the snare is a little too out front. Other than that, very nice.

i actually preferred the first mix. at first i thought the kick was a little too inorganic, but now that i'm hearing the new mix, i miss it...maybe it just needs bumped a db or two.

love the lead vox, harmonies, and lyrics--all very nice.

i also thought the bass guitar sounded fuller and better on the original. not that it sounds bad now. but then again my mixes always come out too bass-heavy because i like it that way...

i'm with greg on the snare.

generally i'm just being picky. overall i think this is a great-sounding track.

On the second mix, I took the snare down, but with the third when I went to take out the symbols, somehow the snare jumped back up. I always thought the snare was too loud. I am in the process of trying to do a final mix, and should have a (and hopefully the last) mix to you guys in a few minutes.
