Rate my singing voice.

Hello,
I am a 17 yo guy that has recently picked up vocal lessons but I have been playng music for a lot longer.
Can you tell me how does this recording sound to you? I know it's kinda sloppy since I did it in a rush and I could do better but please tell me your honest opinion. Could listen to my voice without going "That is really bad"? I want you to be really strict with me. And if you have to tell me something harsh please don't hold it back. Do it.

Sounds good, you're getting your breathing right between lines and it keeps you strong and in tune.
Isn't there a high part to this song? Like an octave higher? Can you hit those notes yet? If not, no problem - this sounds good so far.
 
Yeah you are right. The chorus is an octave higher but as I said the recording was pretty rushed and I couldn't really give it my all. I think I could hit those notes but I'm not really sure. Thanks for your feedback though, your words were really encouraging to me. :)
 
TBH if you can't hit the high part it's no big deal. I always recommend singing and strengthening your vocals in your rage, then gradually try and increase your range over time.
