Help choosing a PC

I am looking for a solid place to purchase a PC for home recording. I have visited Magic Micro and Tiger Direct and wanted to know what experience people on the site have had with these two stores.

I want to build a PC with quiet case, i7 processor, DDR3 memory, 2 HDs, and need some suggestions on a reliable "store" to work with while setting up the build. Also suggestions on best HDs and tips/warnings on what to avoid.

It's worth checking out Newegg. #1 source for computer components. I can whole-heartily recommend them. Tiger Direct is good too, but generally I've found Newegg's prices to be better.

+1 for Newegg. I've built a couple dozen machines from Newegg parts over the last 10 years. Always good.
