Sometimes we will go to great lengths for a perfect sounding studio room spending hours researching the science of acoustics ie.-room modes,sound waves,ultimate room dimensions,diffusors,foam,baffles,construction materials,best digital recording & editing software,etc.,etc..
Then there are times you just have to say,...screw all that stuff,...and get back to the basics.Something along the lines of a Sam Phillips in the days of Sun Studio.
Well,...Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters said just that.So yes folks,...you can turn out a great sounding recording from a not so state of the art facility.
