Im in the middle of building some DIY monitor stands similar to the ones homestudioguy built and posted pics of on here. My question is...does anyone use anything besides the mopads to take care of unwanted vibrations? anything i can get from home depot and build into the stand so i dont have to drop $80 on mopads? im thinking maybe a piece of some sort of rubber. If mopads are the only option i don't have a problem sucking it up and buying them but i thought id ask.
