Problems with Audacity?

howdy
i've got a little problem using audacity to record multiple tracks onto my computer. there seems to be a lag of about .02 seconds for each successive track. is there anything i can do to correct/prevent this?

i used to have the same problem wen i used audacity, you have to use the magnafying glass and move the track yourself in order to get everything lined up right, thats the only way i know unless like me you ecide to get cool edit an then you'll be rid of the problem permanently
